Anyway... enough of my complaining. Thursday Kaleb goes for his 2 month checkup. I'm super excited because Kaleb is going to get his 2 month shots. I know everyone else thinks I'm crazy... what cold hearted mother wants their child to get shots and hurt... but I look at it a little differently. I want him to be protected, and that's the only way for me to be sure he's safe from those diseases! So I'll deal with a little crying and he'll deal with a little pain and in the long run he'll be much better off. Plus... it's kinda cool that he'll get the vaccine that his daddy makes at work everyday! Scott spends all day, and sometimes all night, making Prevnar... the very medicine that will keep his little one safe!
Now if I can just keep ME safe... I think blood pressure meds may be called for before this semester is over!

I don't even have a child and I want to be a stay at home mommy, too!
ReplyDeleteSarah, so sorry that you students don't realize what a great teacher they have...their loss! I wish you could be a stay at home mom too...who wouldn't want to with that precious Kaleb...I want to be a stay at home Nana too...and we could all have fun together. Hang in there...you are a great mom and a great teacher too. Just remember there are some children who are benefiting from you being their teacher. Love you! Momma
