Kaleb wanted Turkey!

I've been bad, I'm falling behind on the blog. Turns out being a full time wife, mom, and teacher takes a lot of time!
Where to start... Kaleb celebrated his first Thanksgiving... and had tons of fun visiting family. We went to Grandma's for lunch and Aunt Kathy's for dinner. Yummy Thanksgiving milk for Kaleb. Unfortunately Scott had to work, but he got to enjoy dinner and we took him a plate full of goodies for dinner!
Rebekah and I went shopping on Black Friday, and Scott as I said was working. Although I usually cart Kaleb around wherever I go, I thought Black Friday shopping at 3am might not be the best idea in the world for him. So he spent his first night away from home at Nana and Grandpa's. Unfortunately I don't think the experience was quite as exciting for them as they had hoped! They got home late, put him to bed, he slept all night and awoke in time to take a bottle and go to Grandma's for the day. Not as much cuddling time as they had hoped... guess next time it'll need to be a longer stay!
Speaking of Grandma, she finally got better and was able to keep Kaleb for almost 2 weeks, and he back started acting up again. No fun, but we're doing the best we can until she gets better. Hoping she is able to get back to normal and continue to spoil our little one! He certainly loves being there... she can make him smile no matter what!
Other things that make him smile?
Blondes! Scott says he could have all kind of dates if he wanted them... every time he takes Kaleb out he gets mobbed by women who want to see the baby! And he smiles much more for the blondes! At first I thought it was a little less Kaleb turning his head to see the blondes and a little more his daddy... but it turns out Scott was right... Kaleb's got a thing for blondes! Maybe if we need a little extra money we could rent Kaleb out to single men looking for a date! We could put Kaleb in a t-shirt that says "Almost as cute as my baby sitter" and make tons of money off of him!
I'm all done with my Christmas shopping... at least that's the plan! I'm sure a few more stocking stuffers will be chosen before the holiday
arrives, but I'm glad I have the bulk of it done. I'm also particularly excited that we have less than 3 weeks left of school before we're out for the holidays. All I want for Christmas is a new set of students! Isn't that horrible? Oh well... such is life.
Tomorrow Kaleb will be 3 months old. Maybe I'll be back with some of his most recent milestones and some snapshots. Until then...
